Demi-Leigh Mason

I started working for MDS in 2021 as a Legal Assistant. I have a Law (LLB) Degree and graduated with a First Class Honours. I am completing my LPC (LLM) and began my training contract with MDS in June 2023. My current professional goal is to qualify as a Solicitor by Summer 2025.

One of the reasons why I enjoy working at MDS is the meaningful work we do. Supporting our members has a real impact on their lives and the positive outcomes that we reach gives me a great sense of achievement.

Working with the team at MDS is great as we all have a mutual respect for each other, aligned goals, open communication which contributes to different perspectives and skills which leads to further learning and understanding. Three words that summarise MDS to me are supportive, inclusive and committed.

In my free time I enjoy running, travelling and skiing. I have hiked up an active volcano, Mount Batur, in Bali and spent some time volunteering at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand.
