Gaurav is a dual-qualified lawyer (England & Wales and India) with over three years of combined legal experience in the UK and India. He holds an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Laws from Queen Mary University of London.

Gaurav brings a wealth of experience in managing complex legal matters across various sectors. He joined Medical Defence Shield (MDS) as a Solicitor, in November 2024, where he applies his legal knowledge and expertise to support the MDS’s core mission of protecting and advising healthcare professionals.

Before joining MDS, Gaurav gained extensive experience working with global law firms, conducting comprehensive due diligence, and providing strategic advice on corporate governance and dispute resolution. His background also spans advising on commercial agreements, privacy laws, and contractual business disputes.

Gaurav is passionate about delivering exceptional legal service, particularly in high-pressure environments, and values MDS’s commitment to supporting healthcare professionals. He is aligned with MDS’s mission to provide protection and expert guidance to its members, a value that reflects his own dedication to legal excellence and client care.

Outside of work, Gaurav enjoys playing tennis and badminton, continually seeking ways to balance his professional drive with his personal interests.
