I am a clinician and lawyer, with broad experience in digital health. I have worked on digital health across the College of Medicine and Dentistry with Ulster University, University College London and University of Central Lancashire. Clinically, I have worked in primary care and I am also an NHS Consultant at Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

I joined MDS to support doctors and dental professionals who may be facing challenges in the workplace. I am passionate about helping our members thrive in their careers. I appreciate the supportive environment that MDS offers, where we can make an impactful difference on our member’s lives.

I have a range of experiences, spanning academia, healthtech start-ups and was previously the Director of Digital Development for NHS England and then the Global Clinical and Digital Advisor to the Department of International Trade.  I have worked with various healthcare organisations both in the UK and overseas on technology, transformation, and public health; and have launched national products and services including NHS 111 and 111 Online.

In addition to my work in healthcare, I am a senior advisor to a communications and PR agency, providing insights on healthtech and behaviour change. I hold several advisory and non-executive roles across health and technology, bringing together my expertise in clinical practice, law, data privacy and technology.

I once found myself stuck on a deserted island, making for an unforgettable adventure!
